In the year 2020, as most of us remember as the “Covid” timeframe - I was diagnosed with a Traumatic Brain Injury. Now that was not the news a 30-year old woman with two young children wanted to hear. I felt the desperation for healing during this time. I needed to heal: for myself, my children and my marriage. Due to the demands of my health, I made a choice to depart from my career in public service. But then I was left with…”now what?” This time of my life forced me to shift to my passions. So with much hesitation and reservation due to my injury, I decided to enroll in BodyMechanics, School of Massage Therapy and Myotherapy. This is when my life changed. This education differed far from my studies in the Children Studies program at Eastern Washington University, as well as my degree in Paralegal from South Sound Puget Sound Community College. Each time I attended, I was being healed and more miraculously being taught to heal. With a passion for learning and, of course, healing, I was eager to expand my repertoire by adding more modalities to my skillset. So I became a Washington State registered hypnotherapist practicing as a BodyMind Bridge Practitioner. Now I specialize in myofacial release techniques, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, and treatment protocols for various areas of the body. Also, relaxation massages that promote circulation and calm the nervous system. My ultimate goal is to guide clients into a parasympathetic state, enabling them to experience optimal rest and recovery. License #: MA61493
